Package: git Version: 1:2.30.2-1 Severity: serious Tags: ftbfs Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past) X-Debbugs-Cc: doak+...@posteo.net
Dear Maintainer, The source package of `git` seems not to specify the dependency to `libssl-dev`. Steps to reproduce: Compiling Git on a Debian live CD fails. These are the steps to reproduce: # apt build-dep git git$ make Make complains about missing OpenSSL header. Installing `libssl-dev` fixes this. Expected: I would that after installing build dependencies for Git, it is built successfully.
