thank you for taking care of the problem so quickly! There is still a build failure on mipsel though. The new t.chown test fails there but passes on the other 32 bit arches. So something different is happening on mipsel. This reminded me of a (probably very unrelated) problem with the stat call during a chown on mips64el that needed to be fixed in glibc: #1022991 So maybe more stat() related things are broken in mipsel? I tried to ltrace the chown() call on mipsel but it seems ltrace is broken on mipsel, so I filed #1023436. This is becoming one of those frustrating problems... :( Thanks! cheers, josch
