Severity: grave GQ is effectively useless - one careless click and you have to restart the program and try again.
I downgraded to the 'stable' gq_1.0beta1-2_i386.deb package, and the same things happens. I've had to downgrade *again* to the 'oldstable' gq_0.5.0-1_i386.deb package, and I can now carry on with my job.
