Package: gnome-session-common Version: 43.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
gedit has been replaced by gnome-text-editor. Consequently references to org.gnome.gedit.desktop should be replaced by org.gnome.TextEditor.desktop in gnome-mimeapps.list. Double-clicking a text file in nautilus used to open the file in gedit in my environment, which was the default before if I remember correctly, while now it opens the file in a terminal window running vim what is not ideal. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.19.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled -- no debconf information
