Package: rsyslog
Version: 8.2210.0-1
Forwarded: https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/4975

After upgrading from 8.2208.0-1, I noticed that the format of the log
messages had changed for the worse, e.g. for rsyslog itself I see

Oct 20 18:15:25 [localhost] systemd[1]: Starting System Logging Service...

rather than the actual hostname. This could break some log parsing
scripts, a workaround is to run

# pkill -HUP rsyslogd

The problem has also been reported upstream today at
https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/4975 (scroll down until the
messages from Oct 20), and a proposed fix has landed in a feature
branch, see https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/5004.
