Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? The currently packaged softether-vpnclient is using version 5.x (5.02.5180 as of today) is more bleeding edge and not suitable for production use * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I'm not planning to install the 5.x version because it is not the stable version * What was the outcome of this action? Not able to use SoftEther stable version * What outcome did you expect instead? Able to use SoftEther stable version (4.x) ----- Code repo for stable release: https://github.com/SoftEtherVPN/SoftEtherVPN_Stable Latest version: 4.39-9772-beta -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages softether-vpnclient depends on: ii libc6 2.31-13+deb11u4 ii libreadline8 8.1-1 ii libssl1.1 1.1.1n-0+deb11u3 pn softether-common <none> pn softether-vpncmd <none> ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2+deb11u2 softether-vpnclient recommends no packages. softether-vpnclient suggests no packages.
