Bullseye (and bullseye-backports) does not have xserver-xorg-core 2:21.1.4-1 [1]. Have you both bullseye and testing/sid in your sources.list and/or packages installed from testing/unstable additionally to stable / stable-backports? xserver-xorg-video-nvidia on backports [2] specifies the dependency on xserver-xorg-coreas you see it. The solver cannot fulfil it, at is seems a newer one is already installed or about to be insalled. So seems that there is at least one package requiring a higher version installed… This would be another indication that there was some mixture of suites… [1] in a bullseye with backports chroot: root@isildor:/# apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-core xserver-xorg-core: Installed: (none) Candidate: 2:1.20.11-1+deb11u2 Version table: 2:1.20.11-1+deb11u2 500 500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian bullseye/main amd64 Packages [2] https://packages.debian.org/bullseye-backports/xserver-xorg-video-nvidia (uploaded Februrary 2022, still current.)
