I use XFS for my filesystems because its simply better than ext3, maybe the installer could offer some basic information on each FS Getting a 2.6 Kernel to work with Sarge is not a simple process, I either have module problems, or kernel panic's on boot. I have stuck with the most recent 2.4 kernel, this was a breeze to configure, compile and install. Default kernel has a lot of stuff enabled that I just dont and wont ever need. Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/. Once you have filled out this report, mail it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
