I tried both themes, and SimpleScan is (barely) usable. Here is the interesting thing: SimpleScan main window's title bar is larger than other applications, while the preference title bar is very narrow, barely high enough to show the X button.
I have no such issue with other applications. Could I have a weird SimpleScan desktop setup? Thank you for taking the time to look into that bug report. Pascal.
