Package: kernel-package Version: 8.135 Followup-For: Bug #366485
sorry, I am in error here. I didn't realise that kernel-package needs debianized sources of third party modules. Reading the man page for kpkg I just assumed it didn't (just like the case of kernel source). I'll debianize and try again and reopen if it still fails. BTW: Why require debian/rules for building third party modules if the makefile supports building from withing kernel tree ? regards b thomas -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kernel-package depends on: ii dpkg 1.10.28 Package maintenance system for Deb ii dpkg-dev 1.10.28 Package building tools for Debian ii gcc [c-compiler] 4:3.3.5-3 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-3.3 [c-compiler] 1:3.3.5-13 The GNU C compiler ii make 3.80-9 The GNU version of the "make" util ii perl 5.8.4-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
