That is not what I meant. Wahat I meant that it is part of a standard/ specification like TLS then it would be used as part of that. Or as part of the CA/Browser Forum so that it would be used in X.509 certificate that is issued and validated. While looking I only found that it is used as part of the Bitcoin protocol. > -richy.
