Hi Simon, Any chance you could share the command you're using to re-apply the batch? Searching the man page (https://download.samba.org/pub/rsync/rsync.1) for "seek" yields zero results so I'm immediately wondering what you've run and why you think it's seeking incorrectly!
FWIW when I re-apply a batch I get "(Skipping batched update for "...")" for every file that has already been sync'd. If the output does indeed match what you've shared, I suspect your archive is corrupt, and you should probably do a checksum or such to verify its integrity.
