Dear Maintainer,

There are three non-enumeration argument types under Linux:
  * character (kill, werase, &c.), which is either special or cc_t
  * cc_t (min, time, line)
  * unsigned short (rows, cols)

cc_t is, realistically, u8 on all platforms.

struct winsize::ws_rows is mandated to be unsigned short,
which is u16 on all platforms.

Why, then:
  $ stty kill 0400
  stty: invalid integer argument: ‘0400’: Numerical result out of range
  $ stty min 0400
  stty: invalid integer argument: ‘0400’: Numerical result out of range
  $ stty line 0400
  stty: invalid line discipline ‘0400’
  stty: invalid line discipline ‘0400’
(yes, that doubling isn't a copy/paste error).

But:
   $ stty rows 65535; stty size
   65535 172
   $ stty rows 65536; stty size
   0 172
   $ stty rows 65537; stty size
   1 172
?

Best,
наб
