Confirmed. Russian text is now printing fine on 2.6.1-2. I tested both authentic russian email and spam (russian and japanese). Only one problem: one of the russian spams was HTML with sans-serif font <font face="Verdana">. But it was printed in serif font instead. But as far as this particular bug goes, it's printing fine, no more empty boxes. Drew
