I left the purple-matrix package for adoption almost one year ago (#998660) but no one has stepped up to take it over, so I'd like to request its removal from Debian. This software has never really been feature complete and because of that it's only available in unstable (#855541). There is also not a lot of activity upstream (mostly small bug fixes).
