thank you for packaging zcfan! I think it should have "Conflicts: thinkfan" set in the package meta-data, as both installed on the same machine likely will produce unpredictable behaviour. By the way, it looks like you're using git-buildpackage. Can you push the pristine-tar and upstream branches? That would make it easier for me to build and verify the package, and provide a patch.
