Package: adduser
Version: 3.127
Severity: normal

When upgrading adduser from 3.123 to 3.127, I was asked

Configuration file '/etc/adduser.conf'
==> File on system created by you or by a script.
==> File also in package provided by package maintainer.
What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
    Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
    N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions
Z : start a shell to examine the situation
The default action is to keep your current version.

while I've never created explicitly and never modified it.
The old file was

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2981 2015-06-18 10:17:54 /etc/adduser.conf

and this was exactly when I installed the machine.

So in such a case, the new version should be installed without
any question.
