Dear maintainers I tried to compile my arduino program with arduino-builder command line program. Unfortunately I got the error "ctags pattern is missing". I fixed this by adding tools.ctags.pattern=/usr/bin/arduino-ctags -u --language-force=c++ -f - --c++-kinds=svpf --fields=KSTtzns --line-directives "{source_file}" to /usr/share/arduino/hardware/arduino/avr/platform.txt I have no idea on how the weired arduino build system is supposed to work and will move away from arduino-builder but anyway wanted to share this. Maybe you can use it. (Remark: this would probably imply a dependency from arduino-core-avr to arduino-ctags) Best regards Jonas P. S.: BTW first I missed to install arduino-core-avr as I was not sure whether arduino-core was sufficient - it actually was not. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable-debug'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (200, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: amd64 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_FORCED_MODULE, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages arduino-core-avr depends on: ii avr-libc 1:2.0.0+Atmel3.6.2-1.1 ii gcc-avr 1:5.4.0+Atmel3.6.2-1 arduino-core-avr recommends no packages. arduino-core-avr suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- debsums errors found: debsums: changed file /usr/share/arduino/hardware/arduino/avr/platform.txt (from arduino-core-avr package)
