Thanks! And oh, had not heard this before.

Well the oldlibs is machine-readable way to convey that these are
obsolete packages (given that we lack a proper obsolete section), that
help both humans (f.ex. via grouping in the aptitude section subtree),
or QA programs. So, I've never thought their life expectancy would be
relevant. :)
