Package: gnome-console Version: 43~beta-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: hackedbell...@gmail.com
After upgrading to the current gnome-console version in Debian Sid (43~beta-1), all shortcuts are being executed even without pressing shift. For example, ctrl+c is executing a copy (together with a SIGINT) just as if I pressed ctrl+shift+c ctrl+v is pasting without requiring shift being hold ctrl+w is closing the current tab etc I reported this upstream (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/console/-/issues/176) but the maintainers there said that could not reproduce this and thus it should probably be an issue in Debian itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-console depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-3 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 42.0-1 ii libadwaita-1-0 1.2~beta-1 ii libc6 2.34-3 ii libglib2.0-0 2.72.3-1+b1 ii libgtk-4-1 4.6.6+ds-2 ii libgtop-2.0-11 2.40.0-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.50.7+ds-1 ii libvte-2.91-gtk4-0 0.69.92-1 gnome-console recommends no packages. gnome-console suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
