Package: mediathekview
Version: 13.2.1-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I have tried to use MediathekView again, after some time. First it would
not start, showing the logo with a progress bar at maybe 30% for maybe
10 minutes on several attempts. Then I moved my old .mediathek3 config
directory away. Now MediathekView started as expected. I chose the
detailed setup process, and before it had even downloaded all TV
programs I got a message that my log partition was full. It looks like
MediathekView is writing detailed java debug info to all available log
files. I have not touched any debug logging options.

IMHO flooding the log files is a security risk. MediathekView should
not write to system log files by default, and especially not debug info
to /var/log/syslog.

Thanks for your work!

Michael
