Package: libgtk2.0-0 Version: 2.8.17-2 Severity: normal Current GTK version does not set the WM_TRANSIENT_FOR hint for windows. By default all dialog windows should have that. I was even trying to use gtk_window_set_transient_for() in my own application, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
I have chcecked all gtk_windows using xprop tool from xbase-clients package. I have chekced on different window_managers (just in case one of them is messing here). I have chceck on session without window_manager (hardcore) :-P and Still the same. All Qt3 apps have this property set, so I guess this is bug in libgtk.
