Yeah, I have a template for mass-bug(1). And I am going to file bugs of serious severity on the next weekend. Starting from packages that mention VAM in the Depends field. Not all packages, which apt-file listed, require vim-addon-manager. For instance, vim-ctrlp already migrated to the new schema.

The Vim team decided to declare vim-addon-manager(1) deprecated. Please
remove the vim-addon-manager package from the Depends list. We advise to
switch to modern dh_vim-addon(1) if you use Debhelper.
Migration checklist:
1. Remove vim-addon-manager from Depends.
2. Remove postinst, prerm maintainer scripts or their parts calling VAM.
3. Add dh-sequence-vim-addon to Build-Depends.
4. Add substvar ${vim-addon:Depends} to Depends.
5. Create file debian/#PACKAGE#.vim-addon in the source directory.
6. Symlink debian/#PACKAGE#.neovim-addon if your plugin works in NeoVim.
