Knowing which version (consistently) works and which doesn't, is the first step
in finding a solution. It is best to test it all with Debian kernels though.
Each distribution has its own kernel configuration, so Elementary's 5.13.0-52
kernel is both a different (major) version and a different kernel config and a
changed behavior can be caused by either one.

On https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/linux/news/ you can see which (backports)
kernels have been released and you should be able to find the corresponding deb
files at https://snapshot.debian.org/
