Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I upgraded from Debian 9 to Debian 10 to Debian 11.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

admin@ip-172-30-0-19:~$ rrdtool

   * What was the outcome of this action?

rrdtool: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpango-1.0.so.0:
undefined symbol: g_ptr_array_copy

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

no symbol table error

I could not see how to upgrade this library. It seems to be up to date.
