Package: pipewire Version: 0.3.54-2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: jkran...@gmail.com
After upgrading pipewire from version 0.3.53-1 to version 0.3.54-2 the echo cancellation module (module-echo-cancel) doesn't seem to work properly for me. When module-echo-cancel is loaded with pipewire version 0.3.54-2 there is heavy crackling in the captured microphone input, the sound is very distorted. When the module is unloaded the mic sounds fine again (but there is no echo cancellation obviously). With version 0.3.53-1 the module doesn't have this problem, echo cancellation works and there is no distortion. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages pipewire depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.64 ii libpipewire-0.3-modules 0.3.54-2 ii pipewire-bin 0.3.54-2 pipewire recommends no packages. pipewire suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
