When building r-cran-v8 against nodejs 18.4.0 in experimental, this happened: # Fatal error in , line 0 # Embedder-vs-V8 build configuration mismatch. On embedder side pointer compression is ENABLED while on V8 side it's DISABLED. It is true that nodejs is built with V8_COMPRESS_POINTERS=false, so r-cran-v8 detection has a problem. This will prevent migration of nodejs 18 to testing, so I'll gladly make a quick patch to fix the build.
