Package: grub-splashimages

I checked update-grub source and found that I have to make link
to:
splashimage_path="splashimage=${grub_root_device}${grub_dir##${boot_device:+/boot}}/splash.xpm.gz"
in order for update-grub to add splash. Could this be added to README
for future users?
