apparently due to an issue with libsystemd-shared_251.2-4_amd64.deb:

While running the scripts to build a Debian-live system the following command is failing

Nevermind, a

 debootstrap sid /srv/chroot/sid

is sufficient to reproduce the issue.

Bumping the severity accordingly.
