Hi, I compiled and run 2.6.16.13 vanilla kernel on Sarge and this problem has too! snd_cs4281 was succesfuly detected at least in one case, but I can't tell why. My notebook is a little outdated Fujitsu-Siemens C-6155. I tried to exclude ACPI support from kernel, but without affect on snd_cs4281 now.
