I suspect what Uwe meant is that xlock does not honor

,----
| ! number of minutes to logout button, -1 disables
| ! this will take effect the next time X is started
| XLock*logoutButton: -1
`----

in /etc/X11/Xresources/xlockmore anymore. I, too, am hit by this. I
usually activate xlock via a script which is as follows

,----
| #!/bin/bash
| xlock -remote -nice 19 -mode xjack -message "All work and no play \
| makes Sebastian a dull boy."
`----

Since the last update of xlockmore-gl the font is much larger (which I
have no problem with), and the timed logout button is there. Here the
excerpt from /var/log/aptitude:

The X resources appear to be ignored. I tried to put it in
~/.Xresources and go for a xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources, but this did not
change anything. Also the changed font is IMO caused by some X
resources not applied (but I am far from being an X expert). Starting
xlock with

,----
| $ xlock -logoutButton -1 <other_stuff>
`----

works as expected. But I agree, it is unexpected to have this button
where it is all of a sudden (it _was_ _not_ there before using "out of
the box" settings). It seems like a mere mistake, though.
