Does libpam-tmpdir just sets TMPDIR to this special value or does it somehow force all commands to use /tmp/user/<uidNumber>/ ?
Does this workaround may work for you? # TMPDIR= fai-make-nfsroot .... or # TMPDIR=/tmp fai-make-nfsroot .... I'll try to avoid adding TMPDIR=/tmp into the fai code (at several places), if it's possible for you todo it. -- regards Thomas
