Dear Maintainer,
I do this in my /etc/news/filter/filter_nnrpd.pl's filter_post:
$modify_headers = 1;
$hdr{'X-test'} = "42";
return "";
However,
- with stock INN2 package, the X-test header does not get added
- doing apt-get source inn2 then dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc, then
starting under news the generated /debian/inn2/usr/lib/news/bin/nnrpd -p
42119 -D
I can POST an article which will get the X-test header added
So, maybe there is some bizarre compatibility problem with my Perl installation
and INN2?
I however just have normal i386 debian buster, except this change:
$ diff ./inn2-2.6.3/debian/inn2/usr/share/perl5/INN/Config.pm
