Minor procedural point: the person proposing the options can also freely modify them, so you didn't technically have to withdraw them and could instead just alter the options to whatever new text you want. 6.3.2: Any member of the Technical Committee may propose additional ballot options or modify or withdraw a ballot option they proposed. (The underlying assumption is that the TC are sophisticated voters who can closely track the status of the ballot, so we can err on the side of convenience to let proposers rewrite the options to whatever they want. If that makes previously acceptable options unacceptable, other TC members can always propose new options or reinstate versions of the previous options.) -- Russ Allbery (r...@debian.org) <https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/>
