I'm aware of this issue, I thought it only impacted one fringe type of system, not Debian, but apparently it is possible to trigger it in Debian as well. It's already corrected in master branch of inxi and in the coming 3.3.15, which should be out today or tomorrow.

I didn't do a freshly tagged master branch release because I didn't think it would impact standard systems, but given the new release will be out today or tomorrow, this will be corrected almost immediately.

Was just a small oversight, forgot to add a single test condition to a feature
when it was upgraded.

I'm curious about the system however, I thought this would only trigger on xvesa type systems, what is your display manager, or how do you start X / Wayland? There appears to be a case that inxi wasn't aware of.

thanks
