Just FYI, I'm currently working on chromium 100. If this is something
related to chromium 99, the 100 release might help. Also, try running as
'chromium --user-data-dir=/tmp' or 'chromium --temp-profile'; you'll
have to manually enter logins/passwords for yahoo/gmail, but that could
tell you if it's something messed up with your configuration.
If it is still happening with a separate profile, you could also test on
the official google chrome packages to see if it's something
debian-specific (they use their own plugins and config paths, so don't
worry about not having a stock profile).

Still have an issue getting login TO yahoo sites. I can get a login page by
deleting all cookies. I can type in my user ID but the button labeled NEXT does
nothing. Ublock-origin is disabled, but by using it's logger function I can see
some geo.yahoo requests repeating every 2-3 min. Probably something I don't

On gmail, if I delete all cookies, then I get a login page. It doesn't

but while it is hung I can access the mail page by using previous saved inbox

Also, "Always clear cookies when windows are closed" doesn't work. The cookies

Altogether I'd say this is not a bug, but broken, like much of the internet.
