Hi Peter, Thanks for the fast response. I prefer to see v1.4.10 in Debian first and later v1.5.x. According to Nick Terell - maintainer of ZSTD in the Linux-kernel - v1.5.x has a lot of benefits and speed improvements. He wants to integrate that as an API update in a later Linux kernel version. Unfortunately, I have no numbers for you but [3] has. I can not imagine how much work it is to have a DSFG-free version of any ZSTD version in Debian. So, I am happy with version 1.4.10 :-).
