It seems that the package just needs to be rebuilt, a binNMU should do.
I tried it (rebuilt the package locally on my machine, installed it) and
it works.
Additionally, python 3.10 is supported, according to:
https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-virtualbox-team/virtualbox/-/commit/055bd3a4
I can't do a binNMU myself though...
