Package: samba-libs Version: 2:4.13.14+dfsg-1+b2 Severity: important Hello maintainers of samba-libs,
since yesterday (2022-03-28) it is not possible to create live images for GNOME any more on sid [1]. The package 'live-task-gnome' has a long dependency chain, using 'gnome-core', 'gvfs-backends', leading to 'samba-libs', which installs 'python3-ldb' and 'python3-talloc'. Both package have an upper limit for Python defined that does not match the current version of Python in sid. These packages are part of an ongoing transition [2]. Could you provide an updated package? With kind regards, Roland Clobus [1] https://jenkins.debian.net/view/live/job/reproducible_debian_live_build_gnome_sid/ [2] https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-upperlimit-python3.html -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.16.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages samba-libs depends on: ii libacl1 2.3.1-1 ii libavahi-client3 0.8-5 ii libavahi-common3 0.8-5 ii libbsd0 0.11.5-1+b1 ii libc6 2.33-7 ii libcap2 1:2.44-1 ii libcups2 2.4.1op1-2 ii libgnutls30 3.7.3-4+b1 ii libjansson4 2.13.1-1.1 ii libldap-2.5-0 2.5.11+dfsg-1 ii libldb2 2:2.2.3-2+b1 ii libnsl2 1.3.0-2 ii libpam0g 1.4.0-11 ii libpopt0 1.18-3 ii libpython3.9 3.9.12-1 ii libtalloc2 2.3.3-2 ii libtdb1 1.4.6-1 ii libtevent0 0.11.0-1 ii libtirpc3 1.3.2-2 ii libwbclient0 2:4.13.14+dfsg-1+b2 ii python3-ldb 2:2.2.3-2+b1 ii python3-talloc 2.3.3-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2 samba-libs recommends no packages. samba-libs suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
