Package: emacs
Version: 1:27.1+1-3.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

A plot using octave-mode and the default graphics toolkit (qt)
is non interactive. Clicking on the rotate plot icon and then
trying to rotate the plot has no effect. This problem does
not occur if the same plot is made using octave outside Emacs.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a octave script file using Emacs (say C-x C-f test.m) and
   check the script is opened in "octave-mode".
2. Enter the line "sombrero()"
3. Execute the line "C-c TAB C-l"
4. A plot window should open with a "sombrero like" surface plot.
5. Click on the "rotate" icon (two semi-circular arrows).
6. Try to rotate the plot. This fails.
