Yes.  But there is no point having a .diff.gz since I am both Debian
and upstream; the diff would be empty.

I think you need some general education about Debian and the purpose
of bug severities.  Going around filing bugs as `important' without a
good reason is rude.

Now I ask you for an explanation and I'm afraid that your response
doesn't seem coherent.  Did you have a reason why this bug is
`important' ?  Do you think it's release-critical ?

Have you read the documentation which explains what the various
severities mean ?

You need some general education about copyright notices and copyright
law too it seems.
