Upstream website has a page comaring against OfflineIMAP: https://guilhem.org/interimap/benchmark.html OfflineIMAP is arguably outdated, however. Anarcat documents at https://anarc.at/blog/2021-11-21-mbsync-vs-offlineimap/ moving to mbsync which nowadays seem the most commonly recommended tool. Would be interesting to have the benchmark page updated to cover more contemporary competitors like mbsync, to show how well this perl-based tool fares against tools written in compiled languages.
