Package: diffpdf
Version: 2.1.3-2
Consider the two files mwe1.pdf and mwe2.pdf in the attachment (obtained from
the question and answer on https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/587968
https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/587968 ).  In mwe1.pdf, the upper
occurrence of “c3:b” is printed twice at the same position, which results in a
visibly bolder appearance in, e.g., evince, okular or qpdfview at 100%
magnification. In mwe2.pdf, the upper occurrence of “c3:b” is printed once as
usual. These files visibly differ. Sometimes you do wish to catch these small
variations. However, diffpdf says, “The PDFs appear to be the same” regardless
of what you compare: words, characters, or appearance. Could you please make
diffpdf actually notice the difference?
Thanks for the bugfix in advance,
Peter
