For those who find this bug report online and gets the tarball:

just now mentioned that they are owned by me since I modded them from my
directory -- so noone who wants to use them without waiting for being
included into debian package -- just get it from my website (I provided
link before) -- there they are properly owned by root. Or at least use
tar with '--no-same-owner' while extracting being root
