Hello,
I'm seeing what seems like the same problem. Everything was fine with
v2.4.5 and the only part of our configuration that I changed was to use
the tape splitting support. When 'amcheck -m <config>' runs via a file in
/etc/cron.d/ then no email is sent. The cron job is being run as verified
by cron's logging in /var/log/syslog. When I run the same command
manually and there is a problem then email is sent. Both times the
command is run as the 'backup' user.
So when run via cron no email is sent. When run manually then email is
sent.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help debug this one.
Thanks for your help!
Jason
