Package: gotmail Version: 0.8.9-1 Severity: normal When the "failure to log in" bug occurred, I tried to download the latest non-Debian version, and got this same bug.
It tries to save to /Inbox, /Junk E-Mail, and fails because normal user can't write there. My workaround was to apply a patch to the old version that fixed the login bug. Can anyone else repro? Command Line: gotmail -u <my user name> -p "$*" --delete --curl-bin "curl -k" Also tried it without the --curl-bin option. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gotmail depends on: ii curl 7.15.3-1 Get a file from an HTTP, HTTPS, FT ii liburi-perl 1.35-2 Manipulates and accesses URI strin ii perl 5.8.8-4 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-modules [libnet-perl] 5.8.8-4 Core Perl modules gotmail recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
