Package: gimp-print Version: 4.3.99+cvs20060121.dfsg.1-1 Severity: important
When I try to print from the GIMP I get a preview, which I can scale and rotate fine. However, the output does not correspond to the preview at all - it's always rotated 90° from the preview but and scaled down to fit. So if I print an A4-sized image in portrait mode, I get a smaller 90° rotated image on the left half of the page, right side blank. If I print in landscape mode I get the right orientation, but it takes up only about a quarter of the page. This is with maximum scaling, everything else is smaller still. Printer is networked and has PS3 emulation, accessed via cups/ipp. Thanks, C. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-k7 Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages gimp-print depends on: ii gimp 2.2.11-1 The GNU Image Manipulation Program ii libatk1.0-0 1.11.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.0.4-1+b1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfi 2.3.2-5.1 generic font configuration library ii libgimp2.0 2.2.11-1 Libraries necessary to Run the GIM ii libglib2.0-0 2.10.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.16-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgutenprin 4.3.99+cvs20060121.dfsg.1-1 runtime for the Gutenprint printer ii libgutenprin 4.3.99+cvs20060121.dfsg.1-1 runtime for the Gutenprint printer ii libpango1.0- 1.12.1-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System protocol client li ii libxcursor1 1.1.3-1 X cursor management library ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxi6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System Input extension li ii libxinerama1 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System multi-head display ii libxrandr2 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System Resize, Rotate and ii libxrender1 1:0.9.0.2-1 X Rendering Extension client libra gimp-print recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
