Thanks for the report but I closely follow the upstream releases. The problem is, that 0.8.2 contains a new binary package, so it has to go through the NEW queue again [1], which means that the ftp-masters have to give their approval. 0.8.2 is currently waiting for this approval. Unfortunately there is nothing on my side to speed up this process.
