Hi, as I said, with gcc-9, mlton-20210117+dfsg-3 builds fine. Underlying mlton to rebuilt it (Build-Depends-Arch) is mlton-20130715-3 .
Then, what I see, is that with mlton-20210117+dfsg-3_built_with_gcc-9+mlton-20130715-3 installed as new Build-Depends-Arch instead of mlton-20130715-3, mlton-20210117+dfsg-3 does build with gcc-11. Then this mlton-20210117+dfsg-3_built_with_gcc-11+(mlton-20210117+dfsg-3_built_with_gcc-9+mlton-20130715-3) also enables to build mlton-20210117+dfsg-3 with gcc-11. Not sure if I'm clear enough, not sure that's the way to go, but I was wondering if that bootstrap process could lead to somewhere and it does. Thanks for reading :) F.
