Package: adduser Version: 3.118 Severity: minor Adduser needs a bit of explanation about what we see as a system accont and what we see as a user account. Especially the system account can be mistaken with an account that is defined on the local system, that is, defined in /etc/password, making an account mh with uid 12345 a system account as well (which is not the case in our wording).
Policy 9.2.2 distinguishes between "dynamically allocated system users and groups" and "dynamcially allocated user accounts". Maybe we should adopt this wording in our docs or at least refer to policy from our docs. Greetings Marc
